Dappled light filters through the canopy as a bird takes flight providing energy and vibrancy to the scene.
Rainforests are one of the most diverse and significant ecosystems on Earth, containing approximately half of the world’s existing plants and animals, a third of the world’s bird species, and 90% of its invertebrates. Half of our rainforests have been destroyed over the last century and at current rates of deforestation, we have only 78 years left before we lose our rainforests altogether.
Taking Flight in the Rainforest is part of my Australian Nature Unbound series which seeks to highlight the complexity and beauty of our natural environment, and foster actions towards a more sustainable future.
All of my reproductions can be provided on either a fine art canvas or on archival quality cotton rag. Canvases are stretched, unframed and ready to hang, and reproductions on cotton rag paper are also provided unframed.Contact meif you would like some assistance in selecting and pricing a frame.
